Summary
In the follow up to Dick Barton - Special Agent, the intrepid sleuth brings the body of Marta Heartburn back to London, having taken from her a cursed sapphire removed from the tomb of Pharaoh Ahkan Rah. The curse threatens the lives of the three archaeologists who first disturbed the tomb äóñ DB himself, and his school friends Swanker and Piggy. Marta becomes reincarnated as the ancient Queen Nefatartie who spurned the Pharaoh in favour of the mysteriously named “Colossus". She charms Piggy into accompanying her back to Egypt to find the tomb of Colossus and a priceless ruby he concealed there. Dick Barton and his assistants Snowy and Jock must employ all their ingenuity if they are to rescue Piggy and break the curse. Phil Willmott's tongue-in-cheek musical rejuvenation of the iconic 1940s radio detective show will have audiences rolling in the aisles.
